How we work
We are a value led company, which means we will ensure you get the best possible film from your budget.
We recommend you take advantage of a free consultation before you decide to use our services, as it will help you explore all the possibilities that are open to you. It is a chance for you to see different examples of our work and discuss the most appropriate style and format for your individual film.
Partnership is a key word for us and we work hand in hand with our clients from the early research stages to the final presentation on screen.
We'll ask you for a brief outline of the aims, objectives and target audience for the film. We will also discuss the possible use of presenters, actors, translations, BSL, voice-overs, animations, titling etc., all of which influences the overall cost of the film.
Our company is committed to quality assurance so our proposal/contracts are individually tailored to each clients needs, with no hidden costs.
The Film Making Process
Pre-Production
This is the research phase when we produce a script outline that encompasses all your aims & objectives. We use our experience to set up meetings and together we will select the right interviewees, locations and participants, as well as organising the actual film days to suit all involved. In this stage we also take care of all the practicalities, such as permits, disclaimers and booking presenters.
Production
These are actual film days which are carefully planned to maximum the time
and resources. One of the great strengths of our company is our approach
to the people we are filming. We have a reputation for being creative
and inventive, but above all sensitive to everyone involved in the project.
(Check out some of our testimonials)
We place a lot of value on high quality visual images, and to that end,
take time to ensure that all our photography is of the highest standard.
Post Production
This is where the film really comes together. We edit on a powerful non-linear edit suite shaping and moulding the production with titling, animations and effects. Our composers can add original scores or create a soundscape to enhance and unify the film. Nearing completion, we present a "rough cut" of the film for your approval before the final polished version is delivered.
If you need your film translated into other language versions, we will be happy to arrange the whole package.
We can then co-ordinate the duplication of the mastered film onto the format of your choice complete with artwork and packaging.
